Now, you’ll get your Jeevansathi at the tomb of Hazrat Mir Hussain Sayyed Khing on the hill of Taragarh hill in Ajmer city of Rajasthan, India. This Taragarh tomb is at the highest point of Ajmer. As you know Ajmer city is the only heart of Rajasthan and maybe you know, Taragarh hill is the heart of Ajmer.

History of Taragarh

Taragarh Hill in Ajmer talks to the sky in the south direction to Garib Nawaz’s Dargah on the top of Aravalli at an altitude of about 3000 feet above the ground. Historians also call it Armaan of Aravali. Taragarh was named much later in 1505. Prithvi Singh Sisodia, the brother of King Rana Sanga of Chittor, built a palace and fort here for his wife Tarabai. The current name of this mountain became famous by the name of this queen. Ajay Singh Chauhan, the first ruler of Ajmer, built a fort on this mountain named ‘Garh Bithli’ in 1113 AD, which was named ‘Garh-Bithli’ after the hill.

But the common people called this mountain Ajayameru as the name of King Ajay Singh which means the mountain of Ajay, thus the name of this area became Ajayameru which later became Ajmer.
After defeating Prithviraj Chauhan in 1192, Mohammad Gauri made Hazrat Mir Hussain Syed Khing Savar, the fortress of Taragarh Fort. Hazrat Mir Hussain’s horse was named King. Therefore, they are also called king (horse) riders.

Qutubuddin Aibak died while playing polo in Lahore in 1210. Defeated Kafirs, seeing the opportunity, attacked unnecessarily to acquire Taragarh. In the sudden attack, Hazrat Mir Hussain Sayyid Khing, a martyr, was martyred along with his horse and companions.
Poor Nawaz got the news of martyrdom. You buried Mir Hussain at the highest place of Taragarh and the rest of the companions. Their horses were also buried when they were martyred. In all of India, a horse’s tomb will be found only on the Taragarh hill. There is also a stone in which Baba stopped with his finger, horsewhip and horse’s knee, even today that stone is present on the Taragarh hill and the traces of these 3 things on it also remind us of the incident. The Urs of Hazrat Mir Hussain Syed is celebrated from 16 to 18 Rajab. Hazrat Mir Sayyid Baba’s tomb walls during the Urs are shaken by the jalal of martyrdom during the Fajar and the sound of horse-hounds is also heard on the mountain. There is a 700-year-old red gondi tree in the bear of the dargah of Mir Hussain Baba. Sayyid Meera Baba always prayed to be green and fruitful. Due to dua, this tree is full of fruits throughout the year. It is wonderful of nature, whoever eats this fruitless woman, fills her lap. The mehndi of Mir Baba’s dargah is used by the boys and girls and praying. They have a relationship with the charismatic form and the love of Allah. These 2 acts of Sayyed Miran Baba are very famous. One time a eunuch ate the fruit of Gondi and prayed to the poor Nawaz. That eunuch got a child. The tomb of that eunuch is also in Ajmer. Many charisma is associated with Taragarh. Indira Gandhi had made a vow after the emergency that on the return of the Congress, the road to Taragarh would be paved. Indira Gandhi also fulfilled the promise to some extent after winning the way. It is said that the election symbol of Congress Paw is a sign of this Panjtan. When you look down from the hill of Taragarh, the fort walls look like a map of India. The map of India in the walls built 900 years ago is a mystery and wonder in itself. I have seen these walls (Javed Shah). Do not forget to see this charisma next time you go to Ajmer. How did you like my article, please tell me by message. The city of Ajmer is named after Ajayameru.
